[TV] Matt Lauer Looking For More Money To Stay On Today
Posted by Joseph Lee on 02.10.2012

Matt Lauer is asking for more money in order for him to stay on NBC's Today. He originally said that he would leave in December.

He's seeking as much as $30 million a year through ongoing negotiations, which is almost double the $17 million he's currently making.

It's believed that Lauer changed his mind when NBC expressed interest in getting Ryan Seacrest to replace him. Others believe that he wanted to come back all along and just held out for more money. Today makes $450 million a year for NBC, more than any other show.

17 million isn't enough for you, Matt? I would do the job for about a 1/3 of that. Greedy prick!

Hell, I'd do a much better job than Matt Lauer for $1 million or less!
